Some people eat to live. Dr. Le lives to eat! She has eaten many exotic food and will try anything once.
She loves eating fruits, especially if they are pre-cut.
She wants to have Anthony Bourdain's job for 1 year (RIP Anthony).
In her spare time, Dr. Le enjoys simple times with her friends and family through good meals and conversations. She'd like to live by this quote from Oogway: "There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the Present".
Volunteering: Dr. Le enjoys giving back to the community when possible. In her undergraduate years, she traveled with the Patch Adams group to provide health care services to the people of Guatemala. She also worked with the International Rotary Club through Texas A&M and spent some times volunteering at an orphanage in Matamoros, Mexico. During Optometry school, Dr. Le traveled to remote areas of Guatemala to provide eye care services. Currently, she is involved in giving pro-bono exams to the children in need through Austin Independent School District and is looking forward to start participation with Austin Pets Alive.
